If you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your email address and any other information you voluntarily provide (such as your first name).

I use this information to send you marketing communications, updates, and promotional offers.

I use Brevo as my email marketing service provider. Your information is stored and processed by Brevo on my behalf. You can review Brevo’s privacy policy here: https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/

There is a double opt-in process to confirm your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email I send.

I retain your information until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or similar jurisdiction, my legal basis for processing your data for marketing purposes is your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

I offer semi-regular or casual lessons that are scheduled and paid for on our agreed dates. However, students preparing for post-secondary music must attend regular lessons on a pre-paid plan.

Students may request a lesson re-schedule with 24-hour advance notice.

For late notice and missed lessons with no notice, full payment is required.

My preferred payment method is e-Transfer but cash is also accepted.

Receipt PDFs will be emailed after the lesson.

Pre-payment of 2-4 lessons is required to reserve a weekly time. Casual schedules do not require pre-payment.

Refunds:

There is no refund for lessons that have been taught, or for lessons missed with no notice or late notice.

An online lesson with technical difficulties will not be refunded but will be re-scheduled.

If a student discontinues lessons before the end of a pre-paid pack, any remaining lessons will be refunded (minus any outstanding missed lesson fees).

We will work together to determine the right materials you need. I provide some exercises and songs, and students also purchase their own music.

Students working online must be able to scan (or photograph) materials and send them to me via email.

Students may record our lessons for review and practice.

Student contact information and our correspondence will remain in my records indefinitely. I will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of my communication tools (e.g., email account).

With student consent I might share their contact information in order connect them with others as part of their learning (e.g., peers, accompanists, or instructors).

I will never include students in social media posts without prior consent. If students tag me in their public social media posts, I will consider that tag as permission to further share those posts.

Custom sheet music will be designed on 8.5×11 inch paper. Scores will be delivered as PDFs, audio files will be delivered as MP3s. Customers may request alternate sizing and file types which I will fulfill if possible.

Files will be delivered by email or by a file sharing service (such as Google Drive) for the customer to download. If delivery is disrupted by any technical issues, we will work together to resolve the issue.

There is no set price for custom sheet music. Each project will be assessed individually. All details will be confirmed in writing via email, including the scope of the work and the pricing agreement.

Payments must be made via e-Transfer to the email address provided on the invoice.

There are no refunds for custom scores. We will work together to ensure it meets your needs.

Revisions are included as part of the process and typically occur prior to final delivery or within a reasonable time-frame afterwards to ensure the music meets your needs (2-4 weeks).

Revision requests well beyond the final delivery date will be evaluated as a unique project. The scope and pricing will be agreed upon before completing the revisions.

Customers are responsible for downloading, storing, and backing up their custom score files.

Customers who have lost their custom scores may contact me for a replacement. I keep copies of all custom scores I have created indefinitely, however, replacement is not guaranteed due to possible technical failures, program obsolescence, or similar issues.

Customers fully own their custom scores and are free to use them however they like within copyright laws.

I will not use, promote, or sell any custom score created for a customer without prior written agreement.

Collaboration

If a custom score involves credit to myself as composer or arranger, agreements about usage will be confirmed in writing prior to creating the custom score.

Pricing reflects the use of this music by various musician setups: choirs of varying sizes, soloists with or without accompanists, teachers and students, etc. Thank you for choosing the pricing that accurately reflects your use of this music.

At this time there are no additional taxes or fees.

All payments are processed securely through PayPal and/or Stripe.

Refunds

There are no refunds for products purchased on this website as digital files cannot be returned, and detailed previews are offered prior to purchase to ensure the product suits your needs. Please contact me if you experience any issues with your order.

Products purchased on affiliate sites (e.g., fullvoicemusic.com, sheetmusicdirect.com) are subject to that website’s terms and conditions.

All products are PDF files that are downloaded upon purchase. No products will be shipped to any physical address.

After purchase, a link to download your score(s) will be immediately available on the order confirmation page and will also be emailed to you. Download links are limited to 3 downloads and expire after 60 days.

All scores are designed to be printed on 8.5×11 inch paper.

Contact me if you experience any issues purchasing, downloading, or accessing your scores. I will help to resolve the issue and ensure your purchased score is ready for use.

You may use this music for learning, practice, and performance.

When you purchase music from this website, you agree to use this music personally: as a soloist, with your music ensemble, or with your students. You agree not give away copies to others who are not directly involved in your personal usage (e.g., other choirs, music teachers, etc.). Instead, please direct them to this website to purchase their own copy.

You may make slight modifications to this music to suit your immediate needs. For example, if a note is too high you may choose a different note, or you may repeat/omit sections. You must contact me to seek permission for any adaptation that results in a change to the composer/arranger credits. For example, if you wish to replace all the lyrics with your original lyrics.

Posting on Social Media

You may post performances of the music purchased from this website on social media, with credit to the composer(s) and arranger(s). Please tag me: Instagram @mimmiea

Copyright in all music sold on this website is owned by me and/or my collaborators and is provided for use in accordance with these terms.

Songs in the Public Domain

For clarity, I own the copyright to my arrangements of public domain songs. Use of my arrangements must be in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Customers are responsible for storing and backing up all files they have purchased and downloaded.

There are no customer accounts on this website. This means your purchases are not stored on this website for you to access in the future. You must download your score(s) before the download link expires and you are responsible for keeping track of all files you have downloaded.

In the event of data loss, you may contact me with your request for a file replacement.

What personal information is collected, and why?

Your email address is collected to send an email confirmation, download link, and receipt for your purchase.

Your first and last name, and/or the name of the organization is collected to be inserted into the watermark on your purchased score(s).

Your country is collected so I can keep track of which countries my scores are being used in.

Do you store my payment information?

I do not store or have access to your payment information, ever. All payments are processed through PayPal and/or Stripe and are governed by PayPal’s privacy policy and/or Stripe’s privacy policy.

How long will my personal information be stored, and why?

Your name/organization, email address, and a record of your purchase will be stored for 60 days in order to ensure you have received your score(s) and any issues/concerns have been resolved. This information is deleted after 60 days.

I may keep a record indefinitely of the countries where purchases originate, with no personal data attached. This motivates me to keep creating (e.g., “My music has been performed in Canada and Australia!”).

What about Social Media posts?

I will never include customers in any social media without prior consent.

If you tag me in your public social media post, I will consider that tag as permission to further share your post.

Will my personal information be shared with third parties?

Your payment information is managed entirely by PayPal or Stripe.

The name/organization and email you provide may be shared with the third-party service providers (plugins) I utilize on my website to facilitate the PDF watermark, and to send a PDF receipt. Please refer to the privacy policies of these services for more information: Watermark PDF for Woocommerce
